Little Boy Wants To Know About Politics
He asks his dad: “Dad, what's politics?”
“Well son, it's like this.
I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me Capitalism.
Mommy is the one who handles and administrates the money, so let's call her the Government.
We're here to take care of your needs, so let's call you the People.
The nanny, well, let's call her the Working Class.
Your baby sister could be called the Future.
Hopefully that makes things clearer, these things are important to think about.”
Little Noah goes off to bed, pondering what his dad had said.
Later that night, he hears his baby sister crying. He runs to her room and sees that she has thoroughly soiled her diapers.
Noah goes to his parents' room, but he sees that his mom is sound asleep.
Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room.
Strangely, the door is locked. He looks through the keyhole, and sees his father undressing the nanny.
He gives up and goes back to bed.
The next morning, the little boy says to his father, “Dad, I think I understand how politics work now.”
“Good son! Let me hear you describe it with your own words.
Noah replies, “Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep shit.”
